Hello my fellow deviants,

:community:

It's presentation time again and I'm pleased to present to you all my most recent creation titled "The GateWay."

If you like this piece, be sure to check out the cut-out version titled "The Portal." ([link]) It will get you up close to the action!

My pieces are becoming much more complex as my skills improve. This piece posed many new challenges that were very frustrating to resolve, especially the fog, depth perception, and scale. However, the techniques I've discovered to deal with my desires for the composite outweighed any frustration I may have endured in its creation.

Accreditation:

My wholehearted thanks goes out to the following individuals for helping me make this piece become reality. If it were not for their generosity in sharing I would be extremely limited on the work I could produce.

The base composite was created by a blending of stock from two of my favorite providers:
malleni-stock ([link])
and
Lugubrum_stock ([link])
and

The depth perspective was provided by the wonderful treetops from:
CelestialRaven16 ([link])
and
raindroppe ([link])

The statues were provided by:
Lausanne ([link])
and
nixie04 ([link])

And, of course, nothing would occur without our soceress and lightning provided by:

The Inner realm castle image belongs to Andy Simmons (Http://www.ans.graphics.com) and was created in 2004. He has graciously allowed it's use for this noncommercial work and I'm very pleased as it really fits the scene perfectly.

The foreground messenger knight was provided by:
ZoeLaFleur_Stock ([link])

The Castle mounted knights were provided by:

Hi, I'm so sorry that it's taken soooo long for me to reply but life happened to prevent it. I'm very pleased that you liked this piece. I plan on reworking it very soon.
